Since 2013, Lease A Jeans has been part of the MUD story. It helped us introduce a different way of thinking about denim: wear what you love, take care of it, and make sure it never becomes waste.
Over time, we learned that most customers prefer to buy their jeans directly. Lease was an important step in our circular journey, but it is no longer the best way to bring Better Denim to more people.
That is why we no longer offer new lease subscriptions. Instead, we are focusing on a simpler circular system that fits better with how people wear denim today:
Repair. Rewear. Recycle.
With MUD ReLoved, our resale platform, pre-owned MUD Jeans can find a new owner and stay in use for longer. You can now choose between a brand-new pair made for years of wear, or a pre-loved pair with a past and a future.
Existing lease customers do not need to take any action. All current lease agreements will continue as normal until the end of their lease period, with the final leases ending in June 2027.
